Visit to Hazel Grove, Rawcliffe

Snakes, Spiders and Sugar Gliders were amongst the animals visiting Hazel Grove on Friday, where the pupils were studying classification and adaptations. The session was great fun and some of the students managed to overcome their fears by handling the snakes and tarantula. Well done to you all, looking forward to our next visit on Monday.

Frank is a hit at Haxby Playgroup.

This week we have visited the playgroups at Ralph Butterfield School and Headlands School. The children loved seeing the animals, Ziggy the Snake, Gary Gecko, Pig & Pog the Guinea Pigs, Tom the Mouse, Malcom the Millipede, Bryan the Snail, Cruella the Tarantula, Gavin the Cockroach, Lucy the Sugar Glider and the star of the show was Frank the Cockerel. The children also created some fantastic artwork to display on the wall for their parents. Thank you Haxby Playgroups

Happy Birthday Milo

It was Milo's 5th Birthday yesterday and the animals and I had a great time at his birthday party. Frank the Cockerel was a star and did a great impersonation of a parrot by sitting on Milo's shoulder. Well done to Milo and all of his friends.
